I just watched Zoom-In (with DBSK in it, obviously) and oh my god, was I drooling or what? The food ... oh the food. Bibimbap, kimchi jigae, samgyupsal, is it for real, life? Is it? *sigh* Now I want to eat meat so badly :( Baegubda! Anyway, I hate it when people start to comparing 2 groups to each other. BB vs. DB, BB vs. DNT, 2PM vs. SHINee, WG vs. SNSD, etc. I think that it's completely unecessary to do so. Each group, while may have similarities to other groups, is different. No two groups are the same, no group is perfect. I don't get the point of comparing two groups. Okay, so this group sells more albums than the others, this group gets more awards than the others, SO WHAT? I don't get it, please do enlighten me. I'm not gonna lie, the 'irrational slash fan-girl' part of me is happy when, let's say, my favourite group, DBSK is said to be better than BB or 2PM or SuJu for example. It's like, 'Take that, BB/2PM/SuJu!' But of course, it's just sheer bias. The 'rational' part of me, however, as I stated before, cannot see the point in doing so other than to alleviate or deflate my fangirling passion. I can throw a lot of arguments, write an essay to explain my view on the matter, but then what? And for what? I don't know, for me it just doesn't matter what people say about them. If I like them than I like them, I don't need anyone's approval or goddamn statistics to do so. Or maybe I'm just tired of having the feeling to keep proving that DBSK is better than the other groups because they're not. Yes they're fucking great but as I said, it might be just out of sheer bias. I'm not in any position to judge who is better than who. All I know that I like one particular group better than the other out of personal preference, that's it. Oh the things I'll never understand in life. |
